Default Reeves Routine DLs

So its 3x5 tamping style. But isnt 2 ramps up to my 100% MAX of 5RM too little?
Since I lige 135kgs for a top set of 5,that mean i should do:65-100-135...
I dont know wheither the CNS will be ready for a sudeen jump that big.

I usually do 5 to 6 ramps of 3-5 reps.
Ex:60-75-90-110-135Kgs.
Or 70-85-100-120-135(thats the loast one i did)

Thoughts?

No, it isn't too little. Depending on how advanced you are, and how soon you think you're ready for it, you can add in some wide grip chins, after the deads.

Your CNS will be just fine. You are doing the deads, right behind squats. Your body is warmed up and ready for the work.

Don't worry about what you usually do. If your going to work the Reeves then work the Reeves on it's own terms, and not based on what other programs do.

Work the program.

This pretty much nails it.

I will add that the 5 rep sets of deadlifts are pretty engaging as is, and if your CNS isn't engaged after squats, the first two 5 rep sets of deads will get the job done. Ramping via 5 rep sets is much more demanding than ramping via 1-2 reps as you build to a max. Reps change the equation, as does a fullbody workout.
