Default Opinions of P/RR/S

Looking for the pro's and cons of P/RR/S. Have you run the program? What gains did you see? Did you train at home or in a commercial gym? What advise would you give someone who is starting to run the program?

Steve told me that you had some questions about PRRS and asked me to jump in here. What specifically do you want to know my friend? To answer above questions:

1-pretty much all I have used for the 10 years ; )
2-gains have been continuous ; )
3-can be adapted to home or commercial gym
4-advice? give it a chance to work its magic and it will!

Wow, wasn't expecting the PRRS creator to jump in here. I have been reading up on PRRS for over a year, need to buy the dvd, but paying for kids in college has taken up my play money. I hope to pick that up soon. I feel I understand the rudiments of the process and since I will have some free time this next week, I will be working on a plan. I was simply looking for some input and assessment from folks who have run PRRS.

Here is a little background and concerns about myself. I am a 47 year old geezer, been training for a little over 3 years now. I don't have the Muscle Memory to fall back on, as I was the ball player that avoided the weight room at all opportunities. Over the past three years I have battled roller coaster liver enzymes, finally diagnosed as fatty liver (treatment - eat clean and workout), a hernia repair and diagnosed low T. I am not saying all this as an excuse, these are the challenges I face, my lifting is used to overcome these obstacles. I put on fat easily, but fight to gain muscle. I have been focused and disciplined, especially of late, and have seen some gains beginning to happen. I have put off giving this plan a try until I was able to get my lift weights into the respectable range. I am just about there. While I do not plan on getting on a stage, I want to get to the point that I could if I wanted to.

As a pastor, my schedule is crazy. Some weeks I have all the time in the world, some I am 24/7. I have found that I can guard MWF mornings, after I get everyone off to work and school for training. I have been very consistent with these days, though occasionally, my time gets limited. On your forum there is a recommended 3 day split of:
PRRS Training - 3 day split P RR S
Chest/Back
Quads/Hams
Delts/Bis/Tris

I would give this split a go.

All this is probably far more than what you were looking for in my response. Let me ask this one question then. What can a 6'0" 195lb Geezer look for from PRRS?

Bam I am currently using this system and I am finishing week 3 (Power) today. All I can say is I am really enjoying it and feel my chest has come up in these 3 weeks. Still to early for me to give you a full review BUT so far so good. Seems to be doing exactly what its supposed to do.

Welcome back Eric.

Thanks. I am going to re-read all my info I have collected over the weekend and try to figure out where to go and how to go about it. May contact you for some input.

Sorry it took a while for me to get back...and thanks to ripped for filling in!!!

What can you expect? Well, in my opinion (and I feel I have enough anecdotal and scientific evidence to back this up at this point), PRRS is the most effective long term muscle building solution out there. It is the most versatile and works for every single person that tries it, despite age, gender, time, equipment, etc. In fact I am right now training a 52 year old gentleman with multiple sclerosis and a shot endocrine system who is getting bigger and stronger for the first time in a decade or more, using PRRS training.

Done correctly and consistently, the system flat out WORKS.
