Yeah it was brutal as well. BP was high, heart rate in the high 120s, fever 103, it sucked! Then I got a cough that would not go away, still fighting it off actually.

Sorry for the lack of updates. I have been down with the flu all week! I actually missed more time from the gym being sick this time than I did when I tore my pec! I just did not want to risk getting everyone else sick. Today's plan was to get some light squats in and a few pulls, nothing too taxing, just enough to say I trained.

squats:
3x5@bar
3x5@145
2x3@255
1x3@345
1x2@435
1x1@525

6 inch block pulls:
1x2@495
1x2@605

I called it there, just enough work to make me feel like I trained. I can tell I have not fully recovered from the flu, so I played it smart. I plan on turning it up a level next week and really push my training for a bit. I have got my body weight to where I want it to be, so its time to see what I can do.

Not too shabby of lifts for a sicko!

I thought something was up, as it seemed you disappeared. Good job getting this training it, as I am sure the lifts must have scared the virus out of you

First let me apologize for lack of updates. I had a pretty bad case of the flu, and then the start of the school year (I am a teacher) is here so it has been pretty crazy. This was week 1 of a short raw squat wave for me. The goal is to simply hit some decent numbers in the next few weeks and continue to work my upper back.

Bench
5x3@230 plus band
dropped the band and went 1x1@410 and 1x1@430 and called it there.

Squat/Dead Aux
McGill pull ups
sumo shrugs
rows
piston squats

Squat:
1x3@460
1x3@550
1x3@605

6inch block pulls
1x2@605
1x2@625

The goal for all the main lifts this week was not to break an RPE of 8. I was pleased with the squats as I felt I had a few more in me at 605. Hopefully this week I will add a few lbs to the squat and blocks. Body weight is still in the 270s, so now that the flu is gone, I can make some progress!
