Back in my "pre stroke" days, I would go to an all you could eat place....and my goal was for them to take the "all you could eat" sign down!

Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. first day actually lifting any weights since the meet.

close grip bench

Band pushdowns 3x15
band fly 3x12

All weights were easy, but my raw bench is down for sure. My tris are weak as well, but I will start to progress each weak with the close grip. I will not use a wide grip raw benching any time soon. I will also start to work heavier, but off a 3board just for my tris. Trying some different things this cycle to see if we can progress my bench to a competitive level.

Brian and Paul were in bench shirts last night, it was crazy how much better they are in a shirt than me. Its impressive to see how fast they can move those weights.

Haha only a few weeks of this. I am 5ft 10, well before I put 1k on my back! I have short legs though, so I have a good build for squatting. i actually have long arms as well (6ft 2 wing span) so you would think I could deadlift, but I suck!
