youre sure you would have got the 265 if you hadnt tried the 270.. So am I, then i am sure you would have got the 270 if you hadnt have done the 250

Just don't let that 270 psyche you out. It's not as heavy as it seemed. You experienced that first hand today. 260 was butter, 265 was toast. You're real close Jim. I expect 315 by year's end, and I think you'll get it.

DEADLIFT DAY 07/30/11

I simply wanted to deadlift. This is really my proudest day ever as a lifter, as all reps in every set were 100% Raw. No straps, no belts, no chalk, no nuthin' - just me and the iron. I had nil back pain or irritation, which paved the way for me to crush it. I left nothing on the table. I deadlifted until not only my grip was completely toasted, but my whole body. I took what my body was willing to give me. Just last month, I couldn't even sign my own name as the tremors were so bad. No disease or condition will ever hold me back ever again from achieving my dreams.
