THE BYRDDAWG SESSIONS WEEK 4 DAY 3 OF 4 BENCH PRESS

I have been doing alot of things lately I have never done before. Today was no different as I have never done 3PPS full ROM on bench before, slingshot or no slingshot. As Big Al once told me, the Blue Reactive Slingshot does not give as much assistance as the red version, so pressing this today tells me I am very close to benching 3PPS raw.

One of the guys commented today that he doesn't know how I bench anything, let alone 3PPS with those tremors. I said I don't know either, I just do it.

Finally, a very surreal moment happened on my last slingshot single, which was videoed. There was heavy metal music playing just before the song that came up as I started to bench, Johnny Cash's Ring of Fire. That was my late Fathers' all time favorite song. After it ended, heavy metal came back on. I swear to God. Nobody knows what happened. The Crew was all saying what the fuck? There was also nobody at the front desk changing radio stations. Additionally, the camera did not record the first single, which was surprising as the guy recording it swears he saw the red recording dot in the screen.

Nobody can ever tell me both my late parents are not watching over me, especially when I lift. I have said before I feel my mom with me everytime I lift, and now I feel my dad. True forgiveness for what he did to me is truly a gift to me and my life.

I have a rant brewing about this - something an idiot on the Crew said about this while I was doing them. Lets just say that JB programmed this, as you all know, and this idiot called me out on this and asked who the idiot is who told me to do these. I almost went apeshit on him. He said that iwa sjust going to ruin my joints and recovery doing useless lifts like push ups and bench dips after heavy lifting. Go and fuck yourself asshole.

I simply couldn't love and respect JB anymore than I do, and I am even more pumped and ready to smash everything in sight now. I am really pissed off and angry at this. Nobody on the crew was offering up advice and a routine when I needed it during last years winter of hell. All the Mabbers were tho and gave me hope and you guys are the reason I am doing this today.

Nice benching, Jim! Those 3 PPs are going up very soon! Use their ignorance as motivation... Nothing works the same for everyone. Most people simply cannot do things you can so because they can't handle it. You've come this far yourself, you know what works for you!

Maybe they're just trying to ensure that you don't surpass them in their lifts as you say, they weren't exactly forthcoming with help, so it kind of makes you wonder why they weren't.

Thanks Jio, Big Al, Chad, Babs, and JB!

I know JB never has me do anything that would be a waste of time and be considered fluff. I figured they were for blood flow mainly, and that since they were BW exercises, they would be just fine anyway.

It's reassuring JB, and trust me, yours and many others advice here at MAB trumps any advice I am given on the crew, especially when they differ.

Things of course have never been better for me and I am going to make the most of my 2nd chance, I guarantee it.
