THE BYRDDAWG SESSIONS WEEK 4 DAY 2 OF 4 DEADLIFT

This pretty much sums up the way I feel about doubling 5PPS. I have never done that before!!



That lift was a super bitch, but I got it!!

Also excited to be able to do this just 4 days after killing myself with those 415 triples squats just 4 days ago.

My progression of late has JB written all over it.

Deadlifts
495 X2 Vid
475 X2 Vid
455 X2
435 X2
Knew I had to lower the weight each set if I had any hope of doing 4 sets of doubles, as laid out in the program. I tend to "weaken" on deads quickly.

Pendlay Rows
250 X6
250 X6 Vid
250 X6

Explosive Pull Ups
8 Singles with short rest. Took a vid of 1 of them.

Thanks Rich!! The Biomat is really helping me recover much faster - this session was proof. No way I would have been able to do that so soon after heavy squats pre-biomat.
