Thanks DZ!! I am sure if I was a bit fresher I would have had it. I will never complain about my lower back tho, as I am lucky to be lifting anything. However, the biomat will make a huuuuuuuuge difference in recovery for me.

Thanks Rich!! It and maybe more will come next cycle, as I have made some adjustments based on cycle 1.

Ya, it always seems to work for me, so I am gonna keep it that way. Steve's advice to only train next to fail works well for me. Dial in just right recovery for me, and I am off to the meet in fine fashion.

SQUATATRON SESSIONS CYCLE 1 WEEK 4 SQUAT

This marks the end of cycle 1 and I survived without any injuries or even the slightest tweak. The best thing to really come out of this cycle was not only my 450 squat PR, but the fact I could have doubled it, and that I am really feeling the squat love of late. My true love seems to alternate between Squats, the Mustang, and Mrs Squatter.

Additionally, I am now regularly squatting in the 400's every week. 4 PPS is feeling better and better each and every time, even when i am not 100% recovered. I have tripled 405, doubled 425, and hit 450 as mentioned, and I am also progressing nicely on the 20 reppers.

2014 will see me squatting 500 at some point - hopefully at the GPC Nationals in early May.

The good times will only be getting better when my Biomat arrives early this week. Recovery will no longer be an issue, all without steroids, of which I will never, ever take. The mat works on a cellular level - it heats the cells and showers the body with Far infrared light and negative ions. It will heal me 2X as fast. It was pricey of course, but I have no mortgage and debt to worry about. Short of selling my soul to the Devil, I will do anything to not only lift forever, but to enjoy and love every freakin rep.

Officially dead. Busy weekend with furniture moving, sorting out tons of clothes and junk, laundry, taking Xmas decor down and away, snow shoveling, etc. My daughter is getting new bedroom furniture Tuesday, so I donated the older suite in the spare room to charity and then moved her suite into the spare room. I wanted to keep that suite so Megan can one day give it to her daughter should she have one.

Surprised my lower back held up so well considering the busy work of the previous 2 days.

Thanks Jio! Indeed - a super productive weekend. My lower back really surprised me as it was achy on Saturday.
