Thanks Rando!! Anytime I can keep pace with you is a great day - I have also thought the same thing, as you are certainly a huuuuuuge inspiration to me to lift like my life depended on it. Big resspecct to as always as your numbers and form are always on point and impressive.

SQUAT DAY

I was quite surprised my body was able to handle what I did today, as I was not expecting much as I am not even close to being recovered, especially lower back, from those pulls on Thursday. They really beat the fucking crap out of me like never before.

I had a bit of lean on the squats and depth wasn't spectacular, but good enough. I didn't really feel the lean tho, but not surprising due to the recovery issue. I don't think it would be prudent of me tho to pull and squat heavy again in the same week going forward. I want every squat to be like zero lean, which is no problemo if my lower back is recovered enough. So, a good day with the numbers, but only a so-so day on form. I will likely either skip pulls this week or do very light ones as I want to bounce back on the squats next Sunday. Having so-so form bugs me to no end.

That focus on form is pretty common in good lifters like you Jim! Awesome work on those squats especially for having the back at less than 100%. Y

Thanks Rando! I feel pretty beat up today again, and thus will only be training Wednesday and that will be just some light work. Need some recovery time in a big way this week.

Thanks Ravi!! That is exactly why I am a form freak Ravi. I get more satisfaction out of good form than a big number. The only exception might be at a meet, but even there I don't wanna look like some idiot.

Indeed, which is why this week I will focus on the recovery and a stay loose session on Wednesday, as I want to have a better session with the crew next Sunday.
