DEADLIFTS

Got emotional during the cardio (too much time to think) because the 505 pull felt kinda light. Never thought I would be able to ever say that. It's really the best and most exciting type of progression, at least to me. I was also excited about how all the back-off sets felt - agin on the easy side.

I am definitely going to rep and 5lb PR all the way to a 600 lb Pull. My lower back is so strong that it's like it's saying to me "did you just lift something?" That MedX Back Bitch work is sure paying off. That machine is the World's most difficult lift because it totally isolates your lower back - no other lift can do that. When doing my deads, I actually feel it most in my Hammies and hips.

I was singing and dancing and air drumming the night away in the JimGym in between sets.

Haha - not many people would want my diet - glten, nightshade, and dairy free doesn't appeal to many, but I am good with it! It allows me to lift.

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

505 was EASY. Very nice progress of late. On to 550 and 600. Gonna have to start calling you deadlifter.
