CREW BENCH

Well, it's been a great few days. Halloween was the big 500 Pull, Fridaay I got a huge 12% raise at work, and now today I scored a big bench PR. Butt came off the bench a bit, but it's something I will easily correct. It's all good in this construction zone and I will need to clean up a few things of course come meet training. It felt just right as in not too heavy or light. Good thing is is that i am not afraid of it and never think about the weight - just form cues.

Indeed it is Big Al. Just yet another big bonus of having coaching. I remember being afraid of a 3PPS Squat for reps. I also hope working on pausing on Tuesdays will help, as I don't wanna leave that until I have to prepare for the Spring meets.

SQUATS

had to stay home today due to Celiac Digestive issues. Singles were feeling really good today, but forced myself to do reps. Very happy with everything. I don't think i have ever done a fiver @350 before. I had to call it a sesh after the 285 set as my right knee was starting to squawk. I also had to go outside and shovel snow and scrape ice for an hour. Great conditioning to say the least. Promptly showered after-wards, went to bed, and plopped the dog on my knee. Felt great!

Any plans to do a routine of some sort? I know from experience instinctive training is fun and great, and you've been doing very well with it.

I have thought about doing JB's BIG, since I wasn't able to complete it last Winter. Not sure. Always open to suggestions tho!
