Kudos on the pullups...same situation with me and the squats, I hated doing them...until I got better and started progressing...now I look froward to "Squat-o-Clock"

So its easy for me to see why you are liking the pullups now

Super Volume session SSJ!!!!

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

Thanks Marvin & Ravi!! My current goal is to get to 3 sets of 10 @ BW and I think I am close. I would then like to use them as a warm up every session.

They are also feeling easier which they never have before.

Nice work Jimbo! Awesome pullups!! Holy Hell, I gotta lose some weight or get a hell of a lot stronger! I couldn't do 3x 10 with a mule and pulley helping me.

Wicked press too. 150x 4 is no joke.

Thanks Mike!! I haven't quite yet done that but I will soon. I have no idea why I am progressing now when I never did in the past. perhaps I just want it more now. Being healthy sure helps tho.

Thanks a bunch Rich! Who would have thunk rep work was the answer for me. Everything happens for a reason. The recovery from my injuries led me to do rep work and low and behold its what I needed anyway.

SQUATTERS' 4th OF JULY SPECTACULAR!

This one is for all my American friends who I love very much!

Big rep PR's on pulls which I am very proud of. About 5 weeks ago 435 was welded to floor and I couldn't even get a single with it.

Got my new spinlock collars today which add 5 lbs each to the bar. Used them on squat w/u and deads. I also got my knee wraps. I will have the crew show me how to wrap up. I also will be placing an order for Rehband knee sleeves soon.

Squat Warm Up
95 X5
125 X5
145 X5

Deadlifts
Raw
235 X3
325 X2
