The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

JIMGYM BENCH SESSION

Good day today! I'm back to my new/old self. I'm going to have to blame Al and his new supps Ark 1 & 3 for giving me a false sense of strength because they made me feel so damn good. I thought I was stronger than I was.

Back to some rep work while I continue build myself back up. I'll get 7 reps across the board next week on bench, then to 8, and then up the weight! I'm a poet! 225 feels like a great place to restart. I'll save the heavy stuff using slingshots and boards for the Crew Saturday.

In retrospect, to be able to rep 225 with no problem like these is special, and I have to thank OR for reminding me of that. It was just 3 or so years ago I used to dream about doing what I did today. Pull Ups are also on my hit list. Much of this self made program I am on is all about stepping out of my comfort zone and tackling everything that used to be a problem for me.

Still losing some of my arch while unracking. I still feel tight tho and I'm working hard on that leg drive.

Was mirin' myself in the mirror this morning after-wards. Man, I am almost there! I have a v-taper! Are you kidding me? Get out of town! It's good fun to be vain sometimes lol.

Haha. I certainly am watching the mirror more these days as it will ultimately determine when I end my cut. It's actually fun, although I have no idea really how to flex some muscles or even pose.
