Strong lifting brother, those BHTNP are super strong there too (I need to up my game)

excellent work Jim

Carl.
Thnaks Carl. You are such a big influence on me. I was thinking of you when the idea of a full body popped into my head, and then I thought I have never done one before. I always like to try new things as well, so it seemed like a no brainer. Maybe the Reeves classic is in my future as well.

Thanks Nard. I couldn't believe I was 100% pain free, not even any forearm discomfort. Can't say the same thing today tho - I have the worst case of DOMS in the history of mankind.

Strong BTN work.
Thanks Steve. Funny how it is, when I started 531 I liked having the weights all pre-determined and laid out on paper. It was like, this is what you need to lift, and so I did it. Now, I prefer choosing my own since there is no way I can get nervous if I chose the weight.

Yes, I have heard that several times as well. I know it's gonna be great s I have never done the fullbody before. I know I'll never be a physique model, but I and Mrs Squatter would like to be just a bit leaner. 200 lbs is still pretty big for someone 5' 9"

It's a great sign actually. You are in tune with your body and can adjust.

I like keeping somewhat of a structure, but I won't hesitate to adjust if I have to.

In any case, it's good to see you doing what's you're doing in your 40's.

Thanks Steve. I do feel like I'm more in tune with my temple. I like the progression structure of this routine at 5 lbs - exept I'm going to use 5 lbs for squat as well, since I'm only going to do ATG or bust. As well, I feel no pressure (it was all self induced before) If I feel like smashing the iron to bits, I will. If I feel like a light day, I will. It will be nice to have a bit of freestyle.

I also am enjoying the best lifting of my life in my 40's The weightloads I used to dream about lifting are quickly becoming a reality

it awesome seeing you doing what you are Jim. I like the fluidity of just lifting what i want to lift, as long as there is still progression going in its all good. You are at an advanced enough stage so that you know how to progress and you know your body.

Enjoy the DOMS buddy

Carl.

Carl.
I'll be progressing all the way to my 500 dead, 315 bench, BW PP, and BP/ATG 405 Squat - even on a fullbody routine. I'm going to retest maxes when I feel I havea good chance of achieving the goal. I also do not care if I have to progress by 2.5 lbs on any lift -I have lots of time and I'm not going anywhere.

Yikes, the DOMS this AM almost caused me to call in sick to work - I've never had them this bad LOL - I feel like I've been beaten by a gang of Powerlifters

Read through the last couple days Jim, I'm excited for you in your decision. I'm glad you were able to both listen to your body and find or realize a new goal that keeps you happy and keeps you lifting! I know you will enjoy the return to the devil, ahem I mean cardio :-), and I'm sure Mrs Squatter will enjoy It as well! The first day looks real strong, and I'm not surprised given that it's you. Looking forward to where this full body takes you, I was looking at them in case I ever graduate 5/3/1 like you did haha.

Thanks so much Cade It's actually my original goal (to cut to 200-205 lbs). Somehow, I kinda strayed away from that - perhaps got to caught up with lifting too heavy and maybe in too much of a hurry to reach my goals.

So far, so good. Did the B session of the fullbody this AM, squats being the big start off lift. I feel my form was much improved at 300 & 315 lbs.
