I agree Bama. It is like watching Pumping Iron. The training is the best part.

Question:
I will be using the Reg Park Style routine. In my past experience and my run through of this routine, the Behind the Neck Presses and the Flat Bench seem to bother my right shoulder. I know I need some serious delt work. I am not ready to give up on the BHNP but will have to start light and work up slow. Can I sub slight incline BP for the BP? If shoulder continues to act up, can I sub some DB presses or a seated Military for the BHNP?

Absolutely.

You know your body better than any of us do, and you have to do what is right for you. I need to make changes to the Eder routine to work around some issues I'm having that are flaring up from my past injury.

I've even considered going to an alternate Reeves program for a few months to allow my body time to come back at a less strenuous pace.

The challenge is about having fun, and having a shared experience. It's not a boot camp situation by any means.

A question was asked about squatting when you don't have a squat rack.

Is it ok to just clean what weight you can and then squat that weight even though it is lighter than what you could do out of a squat rack.

Short answer is YES!

Clean whatever you can, being careful with it. Push press it up, and lower it down. Go for some 20 rep sets. Nothing wrong with that at all.

You could also try something like this.

Clean a weight and do 1 or 2, 20 rep sets of back squats

Lower the weight and get two sets of front squats.

That will work you pretty hard.

Then finish off with a DL movement 3x5
