No benching for me for awhile. Heavy on DIPS, and PLANCHES.
Dip away.

I've been dipping myself lately. But no planches though. I am 100% planche free, and I'm not sure if that is good.

Planches are incredibly hard. When paired with levers, you get an almost total upper body compound workout.

If you were to incorporate some of this work you would see your metabolism speed up. It really burns the cals.

my goal was not for the year but more of a lifetime goal. i always wanted to be a bodybuilder and last may i achieved that. felt great to get that monkey off my back and taking home a cool little 16" trophy didn't hurt none.

Now its time to crush ohio!!

Even getting to the point where you can hold a tuck planche for 10 seconds is a huge strength increase. Try a tuck planche on your dip bars. You will feel deep fiber recruitment trying to hold it.

Weight loss = Fail

I have thickened up quite a bit.

My bench came back quicker than thought after the rotator tear. My other lifts have progressed very well also.

Yes they are!!

I'll be doing some more writeups on some of this gymnastic stuff. In fact there is a large thread talking about bridging gymnastic work with weights, that I'm reading.
