Default Favorite Training Book

I'm looking for some reading material for the summer. So what are some of your favorite books about training? (Instructional, biography, etc.)

You may have already read it, but I just started reading "Starting Strength" by Mark Rippetoe, and I'm very impressed with how good a job he does explaining not just how to do something, but WHY to do it that way. Much more in-depth than the typical "lift this way" type of instruction.

Nonsense post because my last post put my post count at 666. Nope, can't be having that standing.

Check out Brian Carroll's book, 10/20/Life. It puts the cube, and 5/3/1 to shame. It's an awesome book. I'll call it my tool box book. Go to it when you need something that works.

On a side note, I really enjoyed Dinosaur Training, and some of the older Ironmind books too.

Dinosaur training by Brooks Kubik and Keys to Progress by John McCallum. Great reads both.
