Default Prep for bulking

After reading a few articles its really fighting with me refusing to eat bad but if i think about it logically no way i can maintain calorie surplus without doing it

so how are these for foods carb wise, been a picky carb guy

whole wheat pasta? or normal pasta
brown bread
drinking milk whole fat milk ( i am by that stage fat makes you fat)

was reading that eat 4000-5000 calories a day for 2 weeks then eat normally to pack on the muscle

i am really calorie carb paranoid but way i see it i am young and have rest of my life to shred the pounds of.

or keep 3000 calories a day and most of my calories are morning and 1hour after workout?

going to keep training 6 days a week
making sure compound movements are in and cardio as well

really not the best expert on bulking so all advice will love thanks! reading articles but more personal experience will put my mind to ease

Everyone is different when it comes to how to eat during bulk, obviously. If you really want to gain weight and strength, and not worrying about losing your sixpack, heres a few tips that worked for me and one other guy who i trained, he was a beginner and gained over 20 lbs in 2 months using this approach;
(dont know if you allready know this, but you said all advice was welcome)

GOMAD - Gallon of milk a Day, wholemilk 3% fat, add some whey or milkchocolate to it and drink to your meals and snacks during the day

Squat! Heavy high rep atg squats, 2 times a week. Lots of squats, dont be afraid to push beyond 10 sets of different rep range.

Deadlift!

Cut down on your workout days, 3-4 is enough because you should skip the isolation movements almost completely. (compounds should be like 70% of your workout time, so you need more off days to recover)

Dont eat refined sugars or saturated fats.

Supplement with proteinpowder, creatine, vitamins, minerals and fish oil.

Dont think too much about what you eat, just focus on eating alot!

Thats about it, good luck man!

I agree with swede. I myself am a hard gainer and when I ate clean all the time I didn't put on a lot of size. I went to about 20-25% non clean food. NOT stupid food but not clean food so I hit the calories and macro's I need.

i would also watch the amount of cardio you do. you don't want to to too much and nothin intense. but like swede said..focus on eating alot. some get too caught up in what they eat, and the end up not eating as much as they think they do..i'm bulking right now, and i'm constantly eating. I'm thinking of my next meal always..if im not hungry 2-3 hours after a meal, i eat anyways because thats what it takes. Bulking shouldn't be something you feel comfortable with. If you feel you are eating too much, eat more..thats just my opinion and whats been working for me.

When I say stupid I mean don't eat a bunch of fast food burger meals, but things like ice cream, baked chips, dark chocalete things like that are cool.
a good bulk you will most defonitly loose you 6 pack. You can control it and keep a out line. It takes a lot, even for a vet BBer to do a bulk and control the body fat for a lower levels and make gains is hard.
O there is a lot of sup company's and others that will tell you you can cut and make gains but thats because you LOOK bigger as you cut and get more defonition. That takes a LOT of dedication and timing of meals, and I mean a lot.

You have the right additude. Make gains then cut to get the 6 pack back.

Good point D, worrying about what to eat and not all the time also gets you quite stressed (stress in any way is never good for building muscles), maybe not that big a factor but anyways..

Stupid food are pizza, fastfood, cookies etc, stuff that contains a lot of bad fat and carbs and not so much protein (and fibre, vitamins, minerals, good fats)
