Default My weight training rant for the day.

Training has turned into a buffet, where muscle groups, splits and
training techniques are placed on cute little tables, and beginners walk along
with their plates picking and choosing what they want - expecting it to
work.

When it doesn't, they have no idea what aspects to peel away because it's muddied beyond repair.

Start basic, stick to the basics, and slowly evolve your training based on needs and not whimsical, spur of the moment choices.
