Nice squats man. I tried facepulls once but felt as if I was going to fall backwards even with low weight. How do you like them?

Thanks. My training buddy introduced me to the face pull, a few months back, and he gave me a good tip that seems to help. Instead of standing with your feet parallel to each other, use a staggered stance, one foot in front/behind the other one.

like i said im gonna try to get in there at the same time as his crew and tear it up. maybe even get to talk to him

This was only the first week of the first cycle for my new training program, so that's why the bench press was only 185 for the 3x3. It will go up five pounds each week, then down again for the start of the next wave/cycle every four weeks.

If you're referring to my meet numbers, the explanation that I usually give people is that my body is built in a certain way which benefits the deadlift and hinders the bench press. However, maybe it's just an issue regarding my bench technique or whichever muscle(s) is/are lagging in strength.

its just the way we are man.

for instance when i'm not cutting my bench is up around 300 my dead is over 400 and my squat is a gigantic struggle for me to get up any where near 300. most of the time its around 250-275 range for good depth. i've been hard at it for a couple years now to strengthen this up but just don't make the gains like others do.

BTB: Here is an example of the Glute-Ham Sit-Up on YouTube which looks similar to the way that I did it for the first time, a few days ago. I also held the ten-pound plate behind my head. BTW, it's three days later and my abs are still sore.
