Thanks Ravi.

Felt fine doing 100kg last time, with a belt on. Just wasn't sure about heavy beltless Pendlays, so...

Nice work Dray! good numbers

if you don't mind me asking, what movements do you use the belt for?

I don't much about belts, but I was given as Christmas present, but haven't used it yet, was going to try it out when my squat & DEADLIFT exceed 100kg (again)

Thanks Syn.

I don't know much either. But for what it's worth, I've only ever used the belt (it's a 10mm Inzer powerlifting style one w/ a single prong, that I didn't even consider buying for quite some time) for heavy squats and deads - but not all the time - and as of late, heavy bb rows as well.

Might consider slapping it on for heavier OHPs, as well (like maybe 80kg+ ... ?)

First decided to use one when I got to around 140kg on squats - and that's still around when I put it on. Maybe 160kg-180kg for deadlifts. And yeah, 100kg or so for bb rows.

I've seen strong people use a belt for almost everything. Others hardly ever use it, or even not at all. It varies a lot, in other words.

edit: You were benching >100kg, but you're not now?

Yeah I wish that I was benching over 100kg, that was a typo, I meant deadlift not bench.

thanks for your opinion, Ill experiment with the belt when I am back to heavier weight.

No worries, Syn. Wouldn't do any harm trying it out anyway, I guess. Not all the time, but just here and there. Get the feel of it, pushing your air into it and all that. But I'd ask BtB about belts anyway. Guy knows his stuff!

And thanks, Swede.
