My 16 year old has 3 shakes a day. I know the food at school is crap. I don't believe he can focus on grades take gym class and study martial arts and only eat the public school poison. I'd have him pack his lunch but he'd forget it. Much like when I was in school pizza day is still a big deal.

Americans are over-fed calories and under-fed nutrition. Looks like instead of adding nutrition (which is the source of the problem), they "fixed" it by eliminating the calories.

And thus begins the "calorie is just a calorie" debate, which I do not agree with.

We eat for building blocks, not just energy. Perhaps the body is secretly smart enough to know if needs more building blocks to sustain itself, energy be damned.

This seems to be how things work I'm finding out. This is so important the government needs to take over. Government then makes it so bad that you say screw that ill do it on my own, government continues to bill you for a product your not using. Hmmm..... interesting strategy.
