Default 4-2-2014 10/20/Life Week 1 squat

Giving Brian Carroll's method a try while I'm not prepping squats for a meet till July.

75 lb suitcase carry around the gym once in each hand
Bird dogs 10x10 seconds each side
McGill crunches 10 each side
Goblet squats 16kg x 2 x 12

Warmed up plenty slow today. I was kinda shaky starting out.
Working sets: 345x5x5 (6RPE)
Front squats: 235x2x6
Good Mornings: 235x3x12

Had to run out the door after the GMs for work. We were steady busy tonight, so I'm super worn out.

Had my yearly checkup this morning. Everything is good to go. Cholesterol is up a tad since last year, but nothing significant or to worry about. Had him check out my knee and ankle. No ligament damage or anything in the knee, but maybe some meniscus tearing. Honestly, that could be cumulative from football and work and such. I just need to keep taking care of it the way I'm doing and if something comes up, contact him so I can get into an orthopedist.
