Thanks guys

I will be going heavy 3 times a week usually it will be MWF, this week got messed up and will be tuesday thursday because of starting school and being sick over the weekend. I will try to get in 3 light workouts also, but some weeks will probably only be 2.

So I understand that C&P is basically free form, but how do you feel you'll approach pressing and posterior chain. Are you hitting bench all 3 days?

I think the focus of my pressing will be bench, but my plan is to really try to improve my military press and push press. Posterior chain will be mostly addressed through squatting but there will also be days focused on deadlift type movements. I am going to feel this out and see how I feel.

On saturdays I feel I could do something light for posterior chain like ghr's which could probably be done on most light days for posterior chain. With all of the squatting I think my posterior chain will be ok. I will also be doing a lot of heavy powercleans which also hit the posterior chain. This is all an experiment so a lot of it i will have to feel out. And update you as I go.

He is a funny guy he lets you know how he feels, but his training program seems solid to me, he is a very educated, and intelligent man and he is proof that his training philosophies work

Today was my first light day on C&P, but it was just as difficult as the heavy day.

Did a 25-30 minute circuit, of
BB Curls 10-15 reps x 60,70,80
Tricep Pushdown (various handles) x 100,110,120, 130
Abs either decline situps or roman chair leg raises-changed each set

I would do these three exercises as a circuit and then take 20-40 seconds rest and go after it again, I did not count the sets but it was a ton. By the end of this routine I was soaked with sweat and my arms were on fire. I varied the weights on each set depending on how I was feeling at that moment.

Tomorrow will be heavy deadlifts and heavy OHP, I do not think I am going to do a squat movement because I know deadlifts are really going to take it out of me, but I may do a wierd squat variation that is not too heavy, like single leg something.

That's my kind of arm workout. Not that I do much biceps work, but when I do, I like the short rests. Hopefully your triceps aren't too blow.

I guess that's part of the C&P protocol...forget soreness, or possible soreness, and just tear at it? I have such an OCD mindset with regards to soreness that it's hard to think beyond it.
