I like this progressional scheme, I add 5 pounds every other week. With squats you could probably add 10 pounds. It is working so far, and I am still progressing

Session number 2, pretty easy session

Speed bench w/ short light bands
135x10x3, with different grips
Felt very explosive!

Seated log press with light bands
Log weight was 80 pounds I think
5x6-9 reps
Not sure exactly
This was crazy using bands on overhead press, very difficult but I can see how it would help a lot

Finished w/
Average Band Push downs 3x20

We wanted to take a break this week from the log clean and press, gets a little redundant and it is very taxing on the body. But still a good workout.

Well my appetite is always very high, but yes it makes me eat a lot!! I try to get 2 big meals and a shake inbetween workouts. And these are big meals

Wednesday, speed squats and other stuff

Speed Squats w/ strong bands
225x5x2 reps
245x 5 x 2 reps PR for amount of sets

275 plus strong bands x 4 reps rest/pause
This was just an experiment with rest pause reps, I have never really done them before, definitely a good addition, I will throw them in every once in a while.

Cambered Bar Squats
225x3
275x1
315x1
335x1 PR

Legs were worn out, this was a lot of squatting today

Rack Pulls, just messing around
225x3
315x1
385x 3 singles with static holds for 5-10 seconds
Used this for more of a grip exercise today.

Good workout, my legs felt very tired when I woke up but once I loosened up they felt very strong, my speed squats felt better than they have for a while. Good stuff

I too read that post the other day, people are having some crazy results with doing the same exercises everyday. I still think that is too much, but looks like it is working for them. The dark side is treating me well!

Well Jamie did mention that he's not exactly a big fan of squatting 14 times a week like Broz, so that made me feel a bit better. I get some fubared knee issues like Jamie when I squat too often - generally more then twice a week kills me.
