Default Howdy

Hey everyone.

M2 lifter. I've been training for 28 years. First comp was in 1985 at the Leaning Tower Y in 1985. Lifted USPF. Stopped competing in 1994 (bad marriage, bad job, bad place). I kept training though.
Came back unequipped in 2009. Suffered a full avulsion quad rupture in 2010 (rushed the squat). All healed well. Started back Push/Pull. I squat but not to depth. I simply can't wrap my head around below parallel after the injury. Oh the horror.....the horror.
Anywho, training has gone very well and have some decent lifts as an M2.
Then, November I detached my right distal biceps tendon on my 3rd attempt.
Surgery was very successful and rehab is rockin'. Start light lifting in a week.

I've come to this site for one reason: ...above all, this is the most drama-free and open forum with genuine discussions around getting stronger. Way cool.
