Hi all!

This is my first post here so thought I would introduce myself.

I am 23 years old and live in England. With regards to me relationship with the gym – it has always been somewhat jaded as I just do not know what I am doing. Therefore the hours that I have previously spent lifting have been all but wasted.

That is why I was delighted to see the ‘rep goal system’ which really appeals to me. As I write this it is my first week of training using this 3 day split muscleandbrawn.com/3-day-split/ and I done the day 1 legs yesterday. Day 2 is this evening after work. I will hope to start a log on here when I know where I stand in terms of what I am lifting and how I am progressing. What appeals to me is it teaches you how to add weight and how to learn about your body – rather than just giving you a to do list for the gym!

My biggest nemesis has always been my weight. I am 6’ 6” tall and this morning I weighed in at 304lbs. So I am a bit of a unit (to say the least). So as well as lifting I also really want to get rid of my excess fat. To that end I have also today decided to see how I get on with the intermittent fasting warrior diet. Like the rep-goal system... it just dumb’s things down for me and makes my decision making easy. I hope to see results with this soon as it is quite a dramatic change from my normal eating habits.

Well I will stop boring you now. I look forward to learning and developing with time.

Yes absolutely. Yesterday was my first day and it felt great coming back from the gym and just gorging on chicken and rocket/spinach.

Lost 4.8lbs overnight (probably water).
