Default Dan's BBB 5/3/1 log

So here goes my training log. This is my second cycle of the 5/3/1.

Standing press
5x50
5x60
3x70
5x85
5x95
10x105
5 sets of 10 with 30lb dbs

Pull ups
7
7
6
5
4

I suck at pull ups. Probably because I hate them.

Lat pull downs
3 sets of 10@100 lbs

Curls
3 sets of 8 @ 30 lb DBs

BBB 5 sets of 10 @135
5 sets of 10 hanging leg raises
3 sets of 10 shrugs @ 70 lb dbs

tried new pre workout Mr. Hyde. I was exhausted when going to gym, but powered through. No pump, but lots of energy and a rip someones face off drive. Not sure I liked it, but I will keep using it for now

Thanks guys. Tweeked my knee this weekend. Dls and squats will be on hold for a week or two till I figure that out.

3 five min rounds on the heavy bag to burn off divorce crap bad Mojo. Lol.

Not squatting or dead lifting sucks. Knee is feeling better but is making something between a clicking and pop when I straighten it from 90 degrees or more. I'm kinda worried to test it yet. So standing presses.

solid lift for being exhausted.

that hyde will get you wired. Not much of a pump side to it i think thats why they came out the jackyyl part.

what you eating preworkout? i know that really determines my workout.

Thanks, i typically eat a banana or nothing. Life is hectic, lol.

I have used the mr. hyde a few more times, and it has mellowed some, but there is still tons of energy with just a hint of rip your face off. Bad thing is i took it at 7:30 last night for a late work out, and was up till midnight. 5:30 comes early, but my house is clean. Think i need to get somthing lighter on the stims with more pump for the nights i sneak to the gym after kiddos are in bed.

These are still real solid lifts. I know what you mean my working out late and then still twiddling the thumbs hours later. Just keep it up! I hope your knee gets back to normal as well.
