b) videos of belly dancers

Please comply or your log will be shut down.

Hahaha, sorry for disappointing, gentlemen, but no videos. Things went a tad awry Every year, they would have belly dancing - so I thought there would be some this year too. But, apparently the belly dancers were students - who finally graduated - and hence all we had was good food, and traditional folk dances.

Damn

Week 6, Day 1

Press
bar x many
75 x 6
100 x 3
120 x 3 sets x 8

Cleans
bar x 10
95 x 5
115 x 3
135 x 2
150 x 1
160 x 5 singles
(felt light. double checked the weights, they were fine )

Rows
135 x 5
165 x 3 sets x 8
(again, effortless)

Bench
bar x 20
95 x 7
115 x 4
135 x 3
155 x 2
170 x 1
185 x 1
195 x 2 singles
175 x 3 sets x 2
(195 felt pretty good, 175 x 2 was easy too)

Squat
bar x many
135 x 6
175 x 3
205 x 2
230 x 1
250 x 1
270 x 2 singles
250 x 3 sets x 2
(squats were not easy, but neither were they grinders)

Overall, I am a bit surprised by how the session went. I noted the time - I was able to finish it all in 62-63 minutes !!

I don't know if its the high reps that's helping, or whether missing a workout resulting in an extended rest that helped, or both. But the session felt damn good.

Damn good.

Reps are a good way to get strong and rest is a good way to get strength to shine through!
