your press and cleans are comparable to your bench...was there some issue with benching?

for this routine, you're putting out an impressive amount of work each session!

Press and Cleans were for singles, while the bench was for reps, and done after the presses. But you are right, my benching is weak and it is probably the worst lift for me, and one that I don't really enjoy doing

There's also a bit of a history there. At one point of time, years back I used to alternate bench and press, and then the press got stuck. In order to get the press moving, I started doing OHPs everyday - and eventually the pressing progressed till the difference between my press 1RM and bench 1RM was only 40-45 lbs.

This time the bench is moving along fine. I expect it to keep progressing even if the OHP stalls. High frequency did the trick for me in OHP; hopefully benching 3x week will have the same effect on bench.

That's a great experience/observastion.

My bench sucks...I'm not even benching at all right now.

Had a late afternoon nap and woke up after 2 hours at 6:30pm rather drowsily. Remembered that due to Spring break, the gym closes at 8:00pm. Literally rushed off to the gym from bed and started lifting within 20 minutes of waking up.

Consequently, cleans and presses felt weak and I just about managed to grind out the reps. Rows onwards, I was fully awake and the last three lifts were damn easy.

Wait until you get older and need a full day of neuro prep just to lift!
