Thanks. Hopefully you'll be getting back at it soon!

Yesterday's conditioning was snow shoveling for a couple of hours. By the end, I was down to a t-shirt -- the effort and sun nicely countered the 30 degree temps. Today was just some walking and easy swings and get ups.

I could tell as soon as I woke up this morning that deadlifts were going to be a challenge. A lot of snow shoveling DOMS in my hamstrings and low back. As I did my warmups I knew going heavy wasn't going to be smart so I kept it super light and did just enough to get the blood flow going. My arm was feeling good enough to do some chins. Getting older sucks.

Thanks guys. Honestly, having been lifting for about 2 years now at age 48, I wonder how much more progress is reasonable to expect vs. simply avoiding age related losses (especially after a life of mostly inactivity). I guess I'll find out cause I'm not throwing in the towel yet!

I keep telling myself I'll move to 160 on the top set once I get that eighth rep at 155, but I've stalled at 7 for the last few tries. Lower body is finally coming around after the various snow activities killed my legs and back for a while. Overall decent enough.
