12/17/13 Max effort Deadlifts

Sumo in briefs- 135x3, 225x3, 315x2, 405x2x3 sets, 495x2, (add suit) 545x2, 585x2, 635x1 (started a second but was out of position) 655x1

walking lunges- SS bar for 1 trip, added quarters per side for 2 more trips

Reverse hyper- 3 sets of 10

band leg curls- 3 sets of high reps (30-40)

decline situps with a band- 3 sets of 12

Got a lot of good technique work and volume in, and worked up some at the end. This really wasn't the plan, but things were going really well so decided to see where I'm at. 655 moved ok, probably had a little more in me but this was a good gauge. I hardly ever pull full range to a max in gear outside of at meets. I have the vids, but it will take a little time to get them posted since my laptop decided to stop working last night.

I'm pulling in predator briefs and a loose fusion deadlift suit. I've always struggled with getting into position with a tight suit, so the bottom is giving almost nothing and I get a little bit from the straps.

Had some computer issues and finally had to get a new laptop which explains my absence.



12/19/13- Max Bench- Worked up to 655x1 off a 2 board in the shirt, 20lb PR

12/21/13- Rep Squats- Straight bar and 130lbs of chain- 3 sets of 2 at 425, 1 set of 2 at 475, and 1 set of 2 at 515



12/22/13 - Rep bench- still nursing a sore pec but worked up to 275x10 close grip, and 90's x 12 on incline DB press

12/24/13 Rep deads

Raw, conventional- 135x5, 225x5, 315x5, 405x5, 455x5, 495x6

Lunges- 3 sets with safety bar

Double KB swing- 3 sets of 10 with the 50's

Leg curls- 3 sets of 10

inner and outer hip machines- 2 sets of 20 each way

leg raises- 2 sets of 12

decline situps- 2 sets of 12

45' hypers- 2 sets of 15

Got a lot of good volume in today without going too heavy. Probably had a few more reps left in the tank on the 495 or could have taken another jump, but I plan to get in the suit for my squats Saturday so I want to be recovered.
