Default Kellys road

It has been a long time since I have been as motivated to train as I am at present. I have been a gym rat for 20 plus years. I recently read Wendler 531. I have no Idea why but it struck a cord. I will be doing my first powerlifting meet this fall. A little worried but it should be a kick in the ass. I have notice when I concentrate on training everything else seems to fall into place. I've Been doing wendler 531 for about 1 1/2 months and seeing awesome gains. We will see what happens this fall, because if you don't do it in competition . . . You know. I just like to pick heavy shit up.

good luck brother, i am a late starter as far as competing. Im 42 and Nov was my first sanctioned meet at 41. Did well, had Steve and a few members present to lend support.

Ya I've been screwing around with training off and on. I'm 42 also so maybe its a midlife crisis thing. Haha my estimated total is approximately 1275ish at 220 so I've got some work to do. I'm hoping to be around 1400 be the end of the year. When you first start hitting it hard gains are quick. Thanks for the input.

Hit the Chiro after training. Felt funky and had some referral pain into leg after training. Back feels great today. Going to add some more volume to the next 531 cycle. note hit the chiropractor before training next time dumb ass.
