Thanks kindly!

I've been slack this week but crazy busy at work so I've had a reason/excuse.

Going to do a max test on Saturday and then start lots of high volume work on Monday.

Saturday 15th February

Squat worked up to 76kg

Bench
Worked up to 42.5kg

Dead
Worked up to 98kg

Boring stuff but back to high volume tomorrow. Surely it's gotta help me get somewhere, right?

Time will tell, but a shift of pace can definitely help sometimes, yeah.

And meanwhile, that's some really fine numbers anyway. That close to a 100kg deadlift!

Thanks

I've had 100kg locked out twice now and I got 103 off the floor yesterday. Grip wasn't having it though so maybe with some chalk.

Monday 17th February

Squats
5 x 20kg
4 x 10 x 45kg
Meant to do a set of as many as possible but I was feeling super dizzy so that didn't happen.

Leg press
4 x 10 x 90kg Def need to up the weight on this.

Leg curl
1 x 10 x 20kg
1 x 10 x 25kg
1 x 10 x 30kg
1 x 10 x 35kg

Leg extension
3 x 10 x 25kg
1 x 10 x 30kg

Today was a pretty big wake up call. I'm pretty out of shape. It shouldn't have been as hard as it was.

Still, some good work got done there.

Was it the higher volume (if that's the case), do you think? If so, I know that feel. It sure can take some getting used to (4x10, 5x10, that kind of thing).

I think it was a bit. My body just needs since time to catch up to the extra work.

I also have a bit of a bug. I've spent the rest of today with a fever so that wouldn't have helped!

Will see how I go with bench tomorrow.

Volume hurts but it feels so good to be exhausted after training :-)
