1/10/2014 Squats and bench maintenance

Warming up in singles after 2 plates.
Working sets: 505x4(sleeves), 525x4(wraps), 535x4(wraps), 545x4(wraps)
Narrow stance paused squats (sleeves. Knees were a bit rough today): 325x6, 345x6, 365x2x6

Bench press: bar x 13, 135x8, 225x4, 315x2x4, 315x3 (fourth rep fail halfway)

Good day, feeling strong. Back hard at it Monday with pulls.

12/13/2014 Coan Deadlifts week 5

Warmed up to 520 double (easy). Stayed beltless and chalkless to 455 in warmups.

430 for 5x3 from about 3 inches off the floor. Last set was a real grinder, but felt good.

Circuit:
Straight leg deads, 315: 2x8, 1x6
Pendlay Rows, 225: 3x8
Neutral grip lat pulldowns, 175: 3x8
Good mornings, 265: 3x8

Really good session. Very happy with being so strong after two weeks off of pulling.

Tried to bench last night after work, but I was hungry and worn out and it just wasn't happening. So tonight I smashed that shit.

Warmups to 295x4, 315x3x4

Incline DB press: 60x10, 65x3x10

Triceps pushdowns: 62.5x4x10


On the agenda tomorrow: Squats up to 600x4. Gonna make it happen, yo.
