I used to take one before every workout, but I definitely felt less of an effect after using it for a few months. When I first started taking C4 I would get a tingling feeling and incredible focus about 15 minutes after drinking it... now I barely notice anything.

Time to switch I guess?

Surely you could still do what you did that day without it?

I have been tempted to try some just to see what all the fuss is about but if I'm honest, I'm overly paranoid about the ingredients in them, I can't even pronounce half of them, never mind know what they actually are.
I have never taken a commercial pre-workout. I do take my own version of the "hyphy mud" pre-workout. As unbelievable as it may sound, I CANNOT do the same weights or volume without it. As I found out today, there is even a difference between using cheap coffee vs using name brand coffee in it. That is just my experience with it. I do worry that my body will grow accustomed to the caffeine and it will lose its effectiveness.

It looks like there's only 30mg of caffeine per serving, which is nothing unless you are super sensitive. A lot of popular preworkouts have 100-150mg per serving.

looks like the one you posted has 1,3 dim, which many male users say give them stim dick. I've noticed the same thing with high doses of caffeine. Stimulants are vasoconstrictors....

Stim dick!!! Not good!

Haha that aside, some good informative posts there, I'm still not sold on the idea though but you never know times may change, il probably change my tune if I do try them.

I can definitely understand people taking them who work long hours, iv tried to hit the gym after a 12 hour night shift and it was pretty much a waste of time, physically and mentally.
