Default My intro

Hey everyone, found the forums through bbod's channel on the youtubes and this seemed like a good place to be part of.

I did bodybuilding off an on throughout my late teens up till I was 31 or so and due to life issues I stopped and didnt train for 10 years.
I really didn't give it much thought until my 16 year old son started to lift last year and through helping him I caught the training bug again. Wow I was out of shape, its taken me most of this year starting out on light weights and relearning form then on to moderate intensity now I am just starting to train hard enough to where I am seeing some nice gains.

I started back very light lifting in February of this year weighing 240 with sky high blood pressure, but now tip the scales at 190 at 5'9" and normal blood pressure. Im starting to slowly increase my calories to help me gain some muscle and strength. Don't really believe in supplements although I do take a multivit, glucosomine, and fish oil. Staying healthy is a primary objective of mine from here on out.

Like I said I never was into powerlifting in my youth so I'm quite the noob at it currently but having a lot of fun with it. Hoping to learn a lot here and apply it to my training.
