I am glad to see you decided against Wendler, it is a great program but you should wait until your weights have really stalled to try it. Starting Strength and Madcow are both awesome programs and you would have great success with either one. I do like the progression of the workout the BTB has posted in the main site. Starting Strength seems to me that it would be tough even for a beginner to progress that quickly. Increasing by 5-10 pounds each workout when you are doing a full body workout seems difficult to me.

Whatever you choose give it your best with confidence and I am sure you will see results.

its sort of similar to what i've been doing and it's worked out nicely so i'm going to give it a shot. i'll run a log and i can always use a little motivation so drop by and see whats up

Might I suggest Westside for Skinny Bastards? I used this for a couple years with great success. I still like the program a lot, and there is a lot of room for growth and variation. It's really easy to follow, I still flip back to it every few months when taking a break from 5/3/1

i'll look into that when choosing my next routine, i think i'm set with rippetoes for now but i have read over wsfsb and it looks intense
