Nice bench. Might not feel perfect, but damn strong anyway.

Split squats are beastly hard. Bands are awesome.

Wow - 2 squat variations is awesome Big J!!

I am blessed with some great equipment at home and at the crew gym, but it is always inspiring to see yourself and Babs, and some others, still get it done.

I took the week of the 10th off completely. I was under the weather, workouts felt like a chore, I had a light shoulder tweek, my appetite was gone and I was generally just feeling fried.

Brought the Bench Press down to 285 from 305. I'm having flat bench issues right now. 285 felt very heavy. Not exactly sure the cause or causes. Could be the added bench and shoulder volume. Could be not enough of a warm up going into my session. Not sure yet. I am going to make a better attempt to warm up next week.

When I flex in the mirror, my biceps perk up and say "Come at me Bro". True story. Not really.

Great training Josh! Warmup looks good to me, could have just been an off day, or added volume like you said. Either way still strong work! Keep doing what you can big guy!

notes:
I started doing the bulgarian split squats in the rack with the barbell. Used a "front squat" bar placement. It felt more comfortable that "back squat". Doing them in the rack gives me a little bit more piece of mind as the weight goes up.

I'm going to add some tension to the leg curls

Front squats felt good. I focus on keep my core tight and supportive. I'll keep going up in weight.

Legs felt blasted. It doesn't look like much on paper but it's getting it done. Still hoping to squat heavy again soon.
