Default Miracle Bionic Muscle Suit

Quote:
Could you easily lift 50kg (7st 11lbs)? This man can but that is because he is wearing a muscle suit that gives him extra strength.

Click's Spencer Kelly was at the Japanese technology show Ceatec where the suits were being shown and he decided to put one to the test.

Keep up to date with all the latest gadgets and tech news via BBC Click's website and if you are in the UK you can see the whole programme on BBC iPlayer.

Honestly if you're a grown man and you can't lift 50kgs, just give up.

I can walk a small distance with 50kg, can I give up too?

I suppose, if it's for use at work or in a work capacity, where 50kg packages are forever being moved about, then it has a usage, though, I assume they still use forklifts for that sort of thing.

Cyberdyne says they have leased about 330 of the units to 150 hospitals in and around Tokyo, Japan since 2010. The suits cost approximately $1950.00 (U.S.) per year to lease.

Don't see any use in "normal healthy people". However, would be interesting if the suit can be use in people with muscular dystrophy, quadriplegic, etc...
