Bad training days motivate me to push harder.

For some lifters they are demotivational. I say feel insulted when your body tries to show you who's boss. Take it as a challenge and come back to the gym ready to conquer and move forward.

Bad days are part of the process. Let them motivate you, not drag you down.

Can you build muscle by avoiding the top lifts? Of course. You can also avoid climbing a mountain, but you'll miss out on the experience of a lifetime.

I don't lift to take it easy. I lift for the challenge. If you want to lift without the biggest challenges, have at it. You get out of life what you put into it. I won't view you as less of a man, but I also won't lie and pretend you aren't shortchanging yourself.

The bigger the challenge, the bigger the payoff. Mountains, or gym movements.
