12/27/13- extra day- shoulders/arms- trying to keep this one simple

Shoulder presses- 8x8

BB curls supersetted with cgbp- 8x8- my wrists don't like these. I'm gonna have to switch back to an easy curl bar.

This should have been the end of my workout, but my wife hadn't returned to pick me up yet, so I added in lying cable curls supersetted with pressdowns for three drop sets with no rest between. 15, 12, 12

Tomorrow will be deadlifts, then squats on Monday. I will finally be caught up then. Finally.

EDIT: This worked well, I am assuming. My triceps are cramping and spazzing severely.

Great extra work TD! I don't like barbell curls either, go with EZbar or dumbells! Smash on!

12/28/13- Deadlift day- today was an off day. I didn't take my pre-workout, and that usually has a negative effect on my workouts. Not sure if that was the only thing adversely affecting today's workout or not.

Bent over rows- I was pretty pissed at this point, and just went through the motions. The weight was light and I just had a bad attitude at this point. I should have went heavier, but I was too busy being an a$$#@!e to myself.

Power shrugs

185 x 15
225 x 15
275 x 15
315 x 6, 6, 6- I redeemed myself here, if only slightly. I was able to complete all of my power shrugs without using straps. That is pretty good progress on my sissy-grip.

I am taking tomorrow off so I don't have to do dl and squats on consecutive days. After squats will be a deload week. I needs me one. Gonna reset and start over.

Just keep on keeping on. And I will also add I hate how barbell curls feel. What I've fallen in love with is pinwheel curls. Works the biceps and forearms really well IMO.
