Yeah, that is incorrect. That is why each week has a 5+, 3+, 1+. The first number is the minimum goal the + is as many reps as possible. As the book states this set should take some life out of you. Deload week is the only week you do only 5.

Okay so deadlifts today. Warmed up to my working sets of
5 x 105kg
5 x 110kg
5 x 115 (+5 extra reps)
Then did 10 x 80kg for 5 sets. Absolutely hideous. A few sets of toes to bar and dips after that. Ended with tricep pushdowns. Hell on earth.
