Good stuff mate. Been off the forum for a couple of days due to work issues. This cut looks like it's going to go well

The form is feeling pretty good, but I can definitely tell that it's much harder to keep my core stable now that my energy reserves aren't as full. The twinge I felt was a mistake on my part, I wasn't focused enough. I'm rocking a medium-wide stance with my toes pointed slightly out.

Wednesday 4.12.2013

Squat - 165 kg x 5 x 3 - ***
DL - 170 kg x 5 - **
Press - 62.5 kg x 5 x 3 - **
Row (light) - 135 kg x 5 x 3 - *****

CGBP - 75 kg x 8 x 2 - **
BB Curl - 45 kg x 8 x 2 - ***
BB Hold - 95 kg x 30 s x 2 - **** - Increase.
Sit-up - 17.5 kg x 10 x 2 - ***

I think I'm losing a little strength but it can't really be helped. My goal now is losing the fat so I need to focus on that 100%. I'm actually lookin' much better already. I especially love the fact that my face bloat has gone down. I'm able to fit into my old jeans again and my clothes feel loose.

I haven't paid much attention to my diet as of yet... I'm just eating whatever but smaller portions. And drinking a lot of milk to ensure enough protein.

Still looks good. And an increase in one thing, at least. Plus, as you say, there's definitely a a big plus side.

Friday 6.12.2013 - Arms

I've been wanting to try something different than full body workouts for a change and today it happened. I wanna try a bodybuilder style workout for laughs. Yes - you read it right - I succumbed to a bro split My split: 5 days a week, Back/Chest/Shoulders/Legs/Arms mainly compound lifts, a lot of sets done to failure. Here's what I did today:

Triceps dips
BW x 15
---
10 kg x 12
10 kg x 8
10 kg x 10
15 kg x 5

CGBP
20 kg x 15
40 kg x 10
---
50 kg x 11
50 kg x 9
60 kg x 4

BB Curl
20 kg x 10
---
30 kg x 15
35 kg x 6
30 kg x 7
30 kg x 4

Hammer Curl
10 kg x 17
15 kg x 8
15 kg x 8
10 kg x 16

Rev. grip pressdowns
15 kg x 10
20 kg x 15
---
25 kg x 14
30 kg x 8
25 kg x 15

Wrist curl
20 kg x 15
---
60 kg x 7
50 kg x 10
50 kg x 7
50 kg x 6

Reverse wrist curl (kind of like a normal curl but with an emphasis on "throwing" the wrists upwards on the ascent)
20 kg x 10
---
30 kg x 21
35 kg x 13
40 kg x 12
45 kg x 11

Notes:
- Had to use quite a bit less weight
+ Awesome pump, muscles looked awesome and veiny, couldn't stop staring at myself in the mirror
+ Short workout (~ 1 hr)

Next time on arm day I'll add narrow grip chin-ups for biceps and do the pressdowns right after the close grip bench. I'll also warm up to a heavy top set and use back-off sets rather than ramping up. That way I'll have the most energy for the heaviest sets.

Nooooo! He's been taken by the bros and replaced...

Heh. So long as you like it, and are getting some kind of results out of it, then it can't be a bad thing. Nice volume work there... bro.

Haha, I think that the main thing to getting results is not the program, but how you apply it. If I apply the same intensity and focus that I've used so far on this split, I should be able to make results. They might not be optimal results, but then again the only way to find out is to try new things Anyway, it's gonna be fun to go totally crazy for a change.
