Default gvt or phat????

hey guys my name is justin ferguson, and i am new to this forum. i am a college sophomore, 19 years old i weigh 175 lbs at about 15 % bodyfat. I am looking to start a bulk and gain a good deal of mass. I am not sure which program would be more of a benefit to me.i have been lifting seriously for about 1 and a half years now/


my current lifts are

Bench-185lbs for 3 reps

Deadlift 275 for 2 reps

Squat 315 for 1 rep

I would recommend PHAT. No one that I know who has run GVT has managed to last an appreciable amount of time on it. I also like the combination of different rep schemes on PHAT.

I haven't heard of PHAT, But I agree with LtL that GVT usually ends up burning out the lifter. Routines like that are meant for quick gains and to be honest it just won't happen. Stick with something sensible, put in the time, and enjoy the process.

Get PHAT, but don't get fat!

IMO, 15% should be a good % to maintain and still add muscle.
