Default What's in your shopping/grocery bag?

I need some idea of what foods to get when shopping and I am curious to know what others at MAB are eating and what makes up the bulk of their diet throughout the week!

I'll start:

lots of Ground beef
lots of Milk
18 + eggs
Peanut butter
Butter
sweet potatoes
white potatoes
bacon
Almonds
banannas
kiwis
oranges
broccoli
cheese
coffee
cream

This is my shopping list 99 % of the time. I tend not to buy junk as im more likely to eat it if its there, though i did buy nutella this week Thanks MAB

Similar to my list. I would add some chicken and if on sale some fish.

Nutella with some vanilla or unflavored whey makes an incredible sludge, if you have the carbs left to eat it.

what's your spice and condiment game looking like?

Spices: curry, pepper, salt, cayenne, italian seasoning, cumin
Condiments: mustard, sriracha, soy sauce, rice vinegar

If you're looking for a delicious high fat dairy option, check out creme fraiche. Good under high heat and adds a rich element to any dish.

Yogurt (probiotics!)

Aaaall da meats (inc. a lot of mince, aka ground beef)
Lots of milk
Other dairy too (butter, sour cream, cheese, cream, icecream, etc.)
Dozens of [free range] eggs, for breakfasts and cooking general
All kinds of fresh veges, all the time
Some fresh fruit when it's good
Tins of things, like diced tomato, tomato paste, and beans
Nuts for snackin' on
Bread (all the time)
Rice (less often)
Pasta (even less often)
Extra virgin olive oil
Tea
Coffee
Whatever herbs/spices/condiments are needed, or running out
... and an assortment of other various things - always the above stuff though

Otherwise, I also buy pure whey protein powder online in bulk, and go fishing for - you guessed it - fresh fish.

My shopping list every week:
8lbs boneless pork chops
6 boxes of Suddenly Salad
2-3 bottles of various sauces for the pork chops
1 case of bottled water
1 tub protein powder
4 gallons of 2% milk
15 packs of ramen noodles

That's my share of the groceries. Of course, my wife cooks dinner every night and I eat that as well as raiding the kids' sweets when they aren't looking. We are going to a new bargain foods place tomorrow to shop, so my list may change. They have 3lbs of boneless chicken tenders for $1.99 and 10lbs of boneless pork chops for $10.99. If they have deals that good on beef, I will have more beef come next week.

Boring but easy.
