This is from my log I just started!! I was introduced to the site by BBOD as I've been following his youtube for a long time.


Hello everybody, as I'm sure you have guessed I am new here!!

I am a basketball player from England, UK.

I'm just going to bullet point information here so it's quicker

- 4 years ago I started playing basketball and I couldn't even make a lay up next to the basket, now I'm receiving offers from around the world from professional teams.

- I began lifting weights to supplement my basketball about 3.5 years ago.

- I've always suffered from eating disorders (an article is going up for a charity soon about my past experiences, I'll post it here for anybody interested) and in the last 4 years I have gone from 120lbs to around 195-200lbs at the moment.

- I have always been extremely in athletic, when I first picked up a ball about 4.5 years ago my vertical was 12 inches (new one listed below) as I was anorexic and bulimic, with a 6 ft 9 armspan. I'm a little long limbed lol. I have attached a picture so you have an idea...

- My current stats are as follows:

Height: 6 ft 2
Weight: 193lbs
Vertical jump: 34 Inches (standing) & 37 inches (1 step in)
Deadlift: 385lbs
Bench: 231lbs (2 reps)
Squat: Unsure as I've been front Squatting

My current plan is a strength building plan, focused on explosive power, getting stronger and more powerful. It has some resemblance to the conjugate method but my twist based on what I know of my body! I'm currently trying to cut a bit of body fat, but I'm happy with where I'm at about now (Id say 10% to be safe, but I feel great) although I would like to drop to 7% ish as the season starts.

My dream is to play progressional basketball while inspiring others to become the strongest version of themselves.

Many have said I have inspired or motivated them and that is what I will continue to do, I taught myself to play basketball and didn't have help until I met my girlfriend, and I want to give back an help others (hence the YouTube) and just make Somebody's life a bit better!!

I'm hoping you guys won't mind me logging my basketball and weight workouts on here.

Thank you BTB!! That's very much appreciated! Was it college you played in? I remember watching the video a long time ago! Squats certainly did help everything for me! That's where I got everything from!
