I think there was a tie for the world record cause there was two 465kg squats.

Awesome lifter.

Not as good as the Russian whom beat him

This included a 350 bench and squat was 470ish iirc.

That's just a fed, big difference in a fed world record and a world record.

1052 is the most ever walked out and squatted in single ply. That is why its the world record, and not a federations record.

1052 is an All Time record. Given differences in regs and regs enforced its not worth the comparison.

As this thread was about IPF its clear what is meant by WR.

Might want to re read the thread before you talk about things being clear. The question is above, no mention of IPF until I stated that its NOT a WR. and it clearly isn't a WR!

If fed records are WR then I have had several, its a joke.

Another man walked out and squatted more weight in single ply gear.

Actually I missed that question! Your quite right

[gets coat]

However the thread is about an IPF lifter and event. Plus fed world records are still world records. Just depends on the fed whether they have any value.

I agree its an IPF lifter and event, but its just a fed record (I do agree its the best fed record to have). But when another man has done more than you, to tell people you have a WR, makes you full of it.

Here is the problem, when X person says yes that's a WR, people think nobody has done more, and well that's just not true.
