Ironman Meet Training

P-Poopy-Doo Doo Routine
Week 3, Day 1
*
Squats
Heavy Day
135x 5
Add Wraps
235x 1
*
285x 1 ...+5lbs vid. 85% max single. Did good, knees were bugging me from being on them a bunch this weekend cleaning my mom's stove and fridge. Cameo for the boy at the end saying his name(yes he's finally figured out to say his name, or attempt it, and not dada, hurray!!!!!!
*
270x 3 ...+5lbs vid. 80% double or triple. Only showing vid cause I almost fell over, lol. But I finished the set ok.
*
255x 0 ...75% double or triple. Skipped cause my knees were bugging me and my head was bad and wanted to try and get some accessory work done! Regret this now that I'm done, but did all the accessory leg work!
*
Laying Leg Curls
65x 15 PR
65x 15 PR
65x 10 PR ...+5lbs. I had to bend the weight arm back to where it was, and hoped it could hold the lighter load. It worked fine, but Leg Extensions are out of the question!

Leg Press
415x 10 PR
415x 10 PR
415x 10 PR ...+10lbs. Will try to get 15 reps for each next time. If my head wasn't so bad I probably could have got more on at least the first set, not sure about the second or third though.

Weighted Sit Ups
25lbs x 3 ...stopped. Hurt my head way too much! Will have to try and find a substitute lift or do them only on days my heads not bad.....so pretty much never

Done! Hour and 5 minutes. Head slowed me down and I'm still not feeling the greatest. Happy to get work in, but a little mad at myself for skipping that last set of Squats. But at least I got 3 sets on each accessory lift this time!

I'm bummed that your knees are still an issue tho.

Nice recovery after the stumble. Very deep squats. You are good for a lot more weight.

Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond.
