Nobody's perfect Jay! haha - I don't think even Olympians get a perfect score often! Next time, get a side vid as I would like to check your bar path.

Sweet looking Squat Jay!

Did you watch the vid where Dan Green talks about at the bottom of the squat bring your knee's in slightly for a better quad recruitment out of the hole? If not I highly recommend it. If you decide to try it do so with light weight stuff first till it feels natural.

I tried all the other cues and they did help as well as blast my quads.

I specifically, did NOT bring my knees in at the bottom, BUT it happened naturally on my heaviest set!

Worth a try.

Thanks OMP! Yes I watched it. I try to focus on pushing my knees out. Keeping my knees out or over my foot is a weakness of mine. Naturally my knees want to come in a lot. I think for now I'll just try to keep them out, and try and replicate that squat over and over!

Yea, it happens to me if I don't concentrate on keeping my knees out!

280x 1 ...85% vid. Honestly think this my have been my best squat ever! Every time I squat I feel awkward, every time! This rep felt so right! Everything felt right on, depth, speed, drive up....wondering how long til I can replicate that each time??? But hit the goal for today at 85% based on 330 max(this is what Steve told me to do )
*
275x 3 ...80%. 2nd rep felt so awkward and left knee wrap came off during decent, lol. But finished the set fine. Had wraps on semi loose, guess too loose !
250x 3 ...75%. Much better, all 3 reps solid! Vid these drop sets but didn't feel like loading them all !
*
Laying Leg Curls
60x 15
60x 12 ...no 3rd set today
*
Leg Press
405x 10
405x 10 ...no 3rd set today. Probably to fast to jump back to 400+ but I got them done and did well!
*
Done! Calves were tight as hell since the weekend of cleaning and moving crap. really good stuff today! Squats went well! Would have liked to get the 3 sets on accessory exercises, but short on time, energy, head was garbage, ect! Good start though, I'm pleased!
